What is it? The Flexion Short is the cornerstone of the new Flexion Collection from Hylete. Here is the description from their site,”Flexion fabric provides the foundation for the perfect to and from the gym lifestyle piece. The flexion shorts’ angular paneling and contrast fabric stretch zones providing superior comfort and mobility. Two front slash pockets are ideal for quick access storage. Side zippered pockets keep items securely stored while training, and out of the way while seated.”
What do I think? Every single time a get a new pair of shorts from Hylete (always some of the best in the biz, by the way) I think, “they’ve done it, these shorts are amazing and they won’t be able to top these.” It’s probably good that I don’t work in the design department for Hylete, because every time they prove me wrong. I love the traditional black shorts that are a staple of what put Hylete on the functional fitness map. These new flexion shorts are on a whole other level. The new fabric and feel are incredible. These shorts feel like they could take a beating and hold up to any type of lifting or training session would could throw at them. The new angular flex fabric panels let these things move with you no matter the direction or load you are trying to move.
Why do you need it? Any fan of Hylete, especially their shorts, will instantly fall in love with these. I’ve said it every time, but simply put, these are the BEST Hylete shorts that I’ve ever trained in and I would workout in them every day if I had the time to wash them each night.
When should you use it? Every type of workout or simply as a day-to-day short. They also have great pockets and a secondary zipper pocket to hold your mobile phone so it doesn’t weigh down your pockets while you walk around before hitting your lifting session.
How do you get it? Hylete sells the Flexion Short through their website and these retail for $70, and they are worth every dollar.
