What do I think? I have been looking for years for a pre-workout that didn’t have beta alanine but still had an impact on my energy level for my workouts. I’ve used some energy drinks in the past and obviously coffee, but I never felt like they had any affect on the level energy I had while I was training. I really liked the flavor and texture of Ascent Raspberry Lemonade Pre-Workout. The fact that it’s endorsed and used by some great CrossFit Games athletes was something that drew me in also. I’ve seen more results from this pre-workout than I have with most of the different drinks I’ve tried. I feel like I’m more pumped up and energetic without being all jittery or having a bad reaction that I’ve had in the past. Not sure how much this product helps me maintain energy throughout the workout, but I feel more ready to go at the start.

Why do you need it when should you use it? Recommended to take it about 30 minutes before you run or train. Mix it with about 12 oz. of water. Mixes really well and the taste is good but not great. Use it before any type of training session that you want some extra energy.

How do you get it? Was hoping to find it at the CrossFit Games but I didn’t see a booth there. Ordering is easy online through the Ascent site or though Amazon. The pre-workout sells for $35.
